Working on a scale that vastly outstrips the human body transforms the studio into an arena of physical endurance. To match the monumental scale of these three-meter canvases requires a vigorous, full-body choreography of sweeping brushstrokes and raw physical labour. Integrating architectural drawings—created both by hand and digitally layered with physical, gestural movements, the works over time become offerings to the peak.

Returning to these vast expanses each morning became a vital daily ritual, a repetitive rhythm that reverberated through my entire life. Looming over this process was the mountain itself which ceased to be a mere scenic backdrop and transformed into an active, living conversation. Journeys to this peak, known as a site of deep contemplation and pilgrimage became an evolving physical terrain on the canvas. Every ascent brought a new question and every descent a search for the answer on the canvas.
